Warehouse Packer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Warehouse Packer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Count the specific product to make sure the box contains enough of what the order requires;
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards;
- Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately;
- Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned;
- Create different size of boxes to have ready for workload of the day;
- As jobs are being moved from the cutting table, ensure for quality and look for any imperfections such as color and alignment;
- Ensure that the packed box is properly sealed to take to the shipping area;
- Consistently perform job functions taking into consideration safety, punctuality and deadlines;
- Handle items carefully as to avoid damage to product;
- Package Tofu;
- Box final product for shipment;
- Environment could consist of wet and cold temperatures protective clothing could be required;
- Count and sort final product;
- Accurately packing product and bags for delivery to customer;
- Ensure proper items are packaged and placed in the proper containers.
Requirements:
- Good communication, organizational, time management and basic mathematical skills;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Dependable and reliable;
- Ability to multi task with changing priorities;
- Good organizational skills;
- Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability;
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours;
- Be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. periodically during shift when necessary;
- Able to work a full-time schedule;
- Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift;
- Have dependable transportation to and from job site if not taking our transportation;
- Minimum 18 years of age;
- Previous packing/ Factory experience;
- Must have steel-toed boots;
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
