Barista Cashier Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Barista Cashier to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Restocking all supplies throughout the shift;
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace;
- Knowledge of menu and gift items;
- Prepare hot and cold beverages; such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas and smoothies;
- Responsible for setting up work station in a timely manner and restocking supplies and equipment and reporting repairs as needed;
- Performs Service Recovery and then refers customer complaints/comments to appropriate supervisor/manager;
- Prepare daily bookwork, accounting for overages/shortages as necessary;
- Performs cleaning functions and other daily duties in assigned area according to departmental policies and procedures;
- Follows Juice Press employee handbook, operational policies and procedures (cash handling, dress code);
- Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools;
- Communicates effectively with store manager in regards to store, employee and customer needs;
- Acts in a responsible manner that promote the culture, values and mission of Juice Press;
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality;
- Maintains store cleanliness;
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
Requirements:
- Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages;
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear;
- Well organized and detail oriented;
- Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms;
- Must be able to work overtime as needed;
- Entry-level position;
- Must be able to adjust vision to both day and night lighting, and be able to focus on distant and close-range projects;
- May work special events, as needed;
- Maintains positive Company morale and professional attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds;
- Runs errands, when needed, to pick up supplies and/or product.
