Physician / Family Practice / Outpatient Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Physician / Family Practice / Outpatient to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- No nights;
- Support the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines;
- Provide appropriate patient education;
- Assume responsibility for day-to-day supervision of physician assistants/nurse practitioners;
- Participate in medical staff peer review process, performance improvement, continuing education, risk management and Clinical Indicator selection;
- When appropriate, assist nursing personnel in their evaluation of phone calls and determining appropriate disposition;
- Monday – Friday 8-5 (4 10’s available as well);
- Utilize Center referral policies and procedures;
- Utilizes EMR proficiently to document in the Health Record;
- call 1 every 3 to 4 months (by phone only);
- Assist with programs managed within the department, such as EPSDT;
- 20 – 24 patients per day;
- Promote continuity of patient care by interacting and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team;
- Assess, plan, and implement care for patients in a timely manner;
- No admitting.
Requirements:
- Indiana Medical License;
- Board Certified or Board Eligible;
- Current CPR, ACLS, and DEA certifications;
- Current license to practice Medicine in the State of California;
- Graduate of an accredited medical college;
- Bilingual Russian and English Required;
- Current California Medical License is required;
- Board Certified in Family Medicine.
