Pool Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Pool Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drives company vehicle to customer location;
- Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment;
- Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management;
- Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for spas and pools;
- Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct pH level;
- Replacing globes in underwater light fittings;
- Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment;
- Testing swimming pool water pH, and chlorine levels;
- Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming pool structure;
- Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels at store and in the vehicle;
- Assisting the lead technician on repairs and replacements when needed;
- Providing timely and quality repairs of customers’ products;
- Providing knowledgeable and courteous repair service;
- Performing general weekly maintenance and filter cleaning.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions;
- Clean driving record;
- High School Diploma;
- Professional Appearance;
- Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods;
- Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties;
- Ability to lift heavy equipment;
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and equipment repairs;
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician.
