Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and train junior staff on CEQA/NEPA and other planning/environmental requirements;
- Interface with clients and make public presentations to agency decision-making bodies;
- Demonstrate confidence in decision-making and be recognized by clients and peers as having expertise in CEQA/NEPA and related technical areas;
- Write and manage the preparation of complex CEQA/NEPA documents;
- Perform agency consultation and ensure environmental regulatory compliance;
- Perform business development functions, including proposal preparation and active involvement in planning/environmental organizations;
- Responsible for project and staff management;
- Working with clients, resource agencies, environmental and technical staff to prepare environmental documents and related technical studies;
- Leading ongoing environmental planning work, and supporting the development of environmental documents and studies in compliance with NEPA;
- Serving as technical analyst on complex planning projects, for local, State and Federal.
