Our company is looking for a Beverage Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with special projects as needed;
  • Create and support an environment of “Teamwork” by helping a fellow employee or guest, without a second thought;
  • Adhere to organization policies and procedures;
  • Uniforms and/or clothing should always be “on stage clean”
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring, promoting, and terminating employees;
  • Attendance in mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and/or seminars;
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork;
  • Superior attendance and punctuality;
  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

Requirements:

  • Explain how various drink menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and mixing methods;
  • Maintain complete, accurate and consistent record keeping of the company’s attendance point system;
  • Energized and well thought out pre-shifts;
  • Manage the floor in addition to the Bar area and back of the house on daily bases;
  • Verify and ensure all opening and closing checklists are followed;
  • Familiar knowledge of restaurant P & L reporting;
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding beverage quality, guest service, or facility cleanliness;
  • Maintain beverage and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records;
  • Schedule and receive beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity;
  • Proficient in POS knowledge (Micros preferable);
  • Adequate computer skills (Excel and Word);
  • Maintain minimum standards for employee performance and guest service;
  • Responsible for reporting all employee/guest incidents/accidents according to standard operating procedures;
  • Communicates regularly with Senior Managers and Directors the activities of the bar and its employees to include written reports of the activities;
  • Prepare cash receipts after establishments close, and make bank deposits.
