Our company is looking for a Change Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff level professionals and support project management of People & Change work stream;
  • Supporting and utilizing the steps or activities to ensure intention meets the desired outcome;
  • Design and implement pilots;
  • Support outreach activities and plans to learn from entities outside SMC;
  • Conduct research and create value propositions for acquisition policy;
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders;
  • Team with #OneOps functions to share best practices and align around common change management approaches;
  • Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications;
  • Regularly in an office environment;
  • Providing direction and mentorship to the Change Practitioners;
  • This person needs to have experience in change management, as well as transformation experience of large IT Organizations;
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress;
  • Defining the overall strategy, guiding principles and standards through a repeatable process with a holistic set of tools to motivate change;
  • Supports multiple change efforts across Gap, Inc;
  • They need to be able to help people become engaged and involved with processes that are out of their comfort zones.

Requirements:

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences;
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools;
  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
  • 2-3 years of project management experience Must be willing to travel 20-25%
  • Proven experience in large-scale, complex business transformation and/or technology adoption efforts;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • 4 years of general business experience;
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT related Change Manager;
  • Ability to develop a strong network within the organization;
  • Teaching skills and style;
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal;
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics;
  • SQL and related reporting capabilities;
  • Confidence to chair Change Advisory Board meetings with senior stakeholders.
