Construction Administrator Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Construction Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manager of QC reviews and checklists;
  • Oversees CA Processes;
  • Reviews conformance of documents to codes;
  • Professional Degree in Architecture or Construction;
  • Review RFIs;
  • Coordinates the supporting efforts of consultants through the construction process;
  • Prepare ASIs and Architects Field Reports;
  • Affirmative action reporting / affirmative action tracking;
  • Inspect construction sites for quality and report any variances;
  • Promote and enforce TNY and CRH Safety Practices;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Job cost (tracking, reporting & forecasts);
  • Help implement any initiatives that affect the Construction Division (new safety or HR policies, new State specs, etc.);
  • Order, log & maintain certificates of insurance;
  • Certified payroll preparation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry;
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred);
  • Enthusiastic with a Passion for Mentorship and collaboration;
  • Reviews conformance of documents to codes;
  • Ability to compile and analyze data;
  • Professional Degree in Architecture or Construction;
  • Design and/or construction experience in Multifamily/hospitality/student housing/senior living (both wood and concrete construction);
  • Coordinates the supporting efforts of consultants through the construction process;
  • Be able to interact with vendors, construction employees, and different levels of management;
  • Must be detail oriented;
  • Capable of utilizing the internet effectively for research and evaluation;
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook;
  • Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Demonstrated track record of successful past employment;
  • Cleanliness & neatness of all equipment, tools, desks, & computers is a must at all times.
