Construction Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Construction Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manager of QC reviews and checklists;
- Oversees CA Processes;
- Reviews conformance of documents to codes;
- Professional Degree in Architecture or Construction;
- Review RFIs;
- Coordinates the supporting efforts of consultants through the construction process;
- Prepare ASIs and Architects Field Reports;
- Affirmative action reporting / affirmative action tracking;
- Inspect construction sites for quality and report any variances;
- Promote and enforce TNY and CRH Safety Practices;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Job cost (tracking, reporting & forecasts);
- Help implement any initiatives that affect the Construction Division (new safety or HR policies, new State specs, etc.);
- Order, log & maintain certificates of insurance;
- Certified payroll preparation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry;
- Bachelor’s Degree (Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred);
- Enthusiastic with a Passion for Mentorship and collaboration;
- Reviews conformance of documents to codes;
- Ability to compile and analyze data;
- Professional Degree in Architecture or Construction;
- Design and/or construction experience in Multifamily/hospitality/student housing/senior living (both wood and concrete construction);
- Coordinates the supporting efforts of consultants through the construction process;
- Be able to interact with vendors, construction employees, and different levels of management;
- Must be detail oriented;
- Capable of utilizing the internet effectively for research and evaluation;
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook;
- Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision;
- Demonstrated track record of successful past employment;
- Cleanliness & neatness of all equipment, tools, desks, & computers is a must at all times.
