Responsibilities:
- Define total systems design and technology that meet mission requirements;
- Define system implementation approach and operational concepts;
- Maintain awareness of upcoming customer / government driven changes and challenges and suggest approaches to meet those challenges;
- Equipment calibration program;
- Conduct design reviews to ensure that product elements meet requirements (e.g., CONDR, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, SVR, peer reviews);
- Monitoring performance against technical goals,
- Review contract, statement of work, and subcontracts for understanding of all requirements;

Requirements:
- Strong verbal communication skills for internal and customer presentation;
- Experience in leading integrated product teams;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Mechanical CAD proficiency using 3D modeling is required (SolidWorks preferred);
- Visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information;
- 3+ years of leadership or project management experience associated with engineering domain;
- Experience with components stress and derating, worst-case circuit analyses with respect to temperature and reliability analyses is required;
- Develops, manages, and maintains all aspects of project-level risks, including mitigation, costing and planning;
- Experience performing breaker coordination studies, fault current analysis, etc;
- Complete validation activities and support customer witnessed testing;
- Experience in digital signal processing and math is a plus;
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Ceramics, Electrical, Chemical or similar);
- May require lifting, transporting pushing, pulling and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance;
- Outstanding interaction and visual design skills;
- Applying engineering standards to a design.
