Fleet Administrative Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Fleet Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Review driver’s daily inspection reports;
- Completing purchase orders;
- Coordinate vehicle plates and stickers;
- Review and update WEX (Wright Express) gas cards;
- Receive driver’s alert updates;
- Upkeep of JJ Keller, DOT driver files and Driver eld logs;
- Provide complete administrative support services for the Fleet Department;
- Entering vehicle & equipment moves and new purchases;
- Adding GPS updates to Verizon connect and repairs;
- Managing of titles and documentation of used equipment acquired by Sewer Equipment;
- Calculating and processing purchases and lease buyouts from fleet;
- Work with Tech Support in down equipment and paying of repair bills;
- Documentation of all expenses and income for fleet individually;
- Title work, Registrations, Plating of fleet equipment;
- Work with Rental Coordinator on contract related issues.
Requirements:
- Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Must prioritize in a fast paced multi-task environment;
- Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism;
- Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office and database work;
- Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employee and management;
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- High level of accuracy is expected;
- Accounting background is a plus, but not required;
- Must possess excellent organizational skills;
- Knowledge of medium duty to heavy duty truck equipment is a plus, but not required;
- Must demonstrate commitment to company values;
- Must follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner;
- Must comply with all operating policies, procedures, executed Plans, and Programs;
- Must think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results;
- Must work with minimal supervision.
