Our company is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely and accurate data entry of purchase orders, proformas, and vendor information on a daily basis;
  • Play a key role in product line review, research analysis, preparation, presentation, review, selection and implementation;
  • Work closely with the stores to ensure they are providing valuable feedback and direction by supporting their calls and requests;
  • Load, Report & Reconcile rebates;
  • Insurance documentation (Maintain current Liability Insurance documentation on vendors);
  • Part number set up and file maintenance;
  • Pick ticket/scrap ticket processing;
  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs;
  • Maintains current, fresh, and fashionable features;
  • Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on merchandise guidelines, protection standards and established best methods;
  • Processes cash register transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policy and procedure;
  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience;
  • Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness;
  • Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality;
  • Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized;
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure;
  • Solid communication skills: ability to partner with coworkers at all levels of the organization and flex style accordingly;
  • Microsoft Office;
  • Superior organizational skills, with attention to detail;
  • Persistence: to track down any pending items independently to gather all information needed to succeed;
  • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations;
  • Ability to clearly communicate with multiple levels of the organization a must. Proficient in MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Must be highly organized/detail oriented, able to handle conflicting priorities and thrive in ambiguity;
  • Fashion and apparel design industry experience a plus;
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks;
  • Initiative: Approaches problem solving not only by identifying issues, but by coming up with actionable solutions with a positive attitude;
  • Additional duties and responsibilities, within these roles, as assigned;
  • Collaborates dealers to effectively execute merchandising resets.
