Senior Engineer 1 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Engineer 1 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Automate any new process for deployment in higher environments using CI/CD principles. We use Jenkins, Stash repository, shell scripting;
- Required to write performance optimized queries that load data into redshift DWH;
- Manage AWS Cloud Big Data stack which involves Amazon Kinesis, Firehose, Spark, Redshift;
- Hands on with one programming language e.g. Python, JAVA and the ability to pull JSON like data from API’s and do data ingestion.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in working with Ansible Automation, Chef, Puppet, CloudForm, SCCM;
- Experience working in large environments and as part of an engineering team (onsite/offshore model);
- Java/Scala/Python any of the language is necessary;
- Must have Strong working experience with Object Oriented Design and Development;
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Stash;
- Excellent communication (oral and written), action oriented, and strong analytical/problem solving abilities.
