Sr. Salesforce Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Improve efficiency and day-to-day operations within the SFDC team;
- Develop custom solutions, test systems, and applications;
- Fluent in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce language;
- Participate actively in discussions, builds a reputation as a go-to resource for toughest problems;
- Understand platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations;
- Support QA in functional and system level testing and fix defects;
- Responsible to code complex Visualforce pages and APEX classes;
- Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to deliver key deliverables to be incorporated into project plans;
- Responsible for documenting design, providing estimates, programming specifications, performing unit and systems testing, and recording test results;
- Deploy code and in strict accordance with change management procedures;
- Audit, identify, and resolve data integrity issues using tools such as duplication management tool and Dataloader;
- Maintain and enhance data integrity through effective design, maintenance and security in the Salesforce.com instances;
- Responsible to test and debugs to ensure that production systems continue to meet user needs;
- Train other development resources on Salesforce development practices as needed;
- Develop customized solutions to support critical business functions and meet project objectives.
Requirements:
- Salesforce Certification preferred;
- Develop integrations in the Salesforce platform;
- 7+ years of application development and implementation experience;
- Develop, enhance and maintain automated processes in and applications integrated with the Salesforce.com instances;
- 4+ years experience working as a developer in Salesforce.com;
- Salesforce Lightening and Classic;
- Create/modify pages, controllers, components and customer objects;
- Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to deliver key deliverables to be incorporated into project plans;
- Deploy code and in strict accordance with change management procedures;
- Responsible for documenting design, providing estimates, programming specifications, performing unit and systems testing, and recording test results;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – this role is heavily collaborative;
- Maintain and enhance data integrity through effective design, maintenance and security in the Salesforce.com instances;
- Should be able to estimate implement efforts for small to mid-size projects and plan development tasks;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar is required;
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
