Monitors and analyzes technology and trends that could improve the company’s products and performance. In addition, Vice President of Technology typically requires an advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Typically reports to Chief Information Officer or Chief Executive Officer. The Vice President of Technology manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.   • Coordinate capital and operational budgeting and forecasting for infrastructure, licensing, vendors, partners and workforce;
  • Work across the IT organization and senior level executives to lead the careful and responsible management of the technical organization;
  • Lead assigned functions such as Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Information Security, Program Management, and Business Continuity;

Requirements:

  • Direct experience in building and managing teams comprised of professional and non-exempt personnel;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred.
