Our company is looking for a Data Governance Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other Data Management Office staff as needed to advance the maturity of the bank’s overall data management;
  • Create Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) models including assets, relationships, domains and communities;
  • Meta Data Management using tool Collibra DGC Business Process Management workflows;
  • Create Technical design document;
  • Define workflow, security and integration requirements;
  • Configure Collibra Data Governance Center DGC based on requirements and specifications;
  • Define technical architecture and design.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in writing SQL against relational databases is required;
  • Experience with data lineage tools and methods is not required but is a plus;
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully cultivate partnerships with stakeholders from senior management to junior staff;
  • Expertise in distilling complex concepts into clear, straightforward language for both business and technical audiences;
  • Eagerness to advocate for data governance best practices and the willingness to invest time with stakeholders to elevate their knowledge;
  • Takes critical feedback in stride, and adjusts approaches accordingly;
  • Confidence in engaging multiple audiences that vary in business/technical focus;
  • Experience in writing regular expressions is not required but is a plus;
  • Experience with one or more vendor tools for data governance, data quality, and/or metadata management is required;
  • Proficiency and comfort in facilitating workshops and other meetings, and driving information discovery among multiple participants;
  • Leads by example as a point of help and excellent customer service;
  • Very Good communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Ability to articulate and interact with non-technical business users on their data needs.
