Marketing Analytics Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Query our customer database to identify audience sizes or target segments;
- Perform deep-dives of marketing campaigns and sales cycles to inform on sale and closing strategies;
- Manage and mentor Marketing Analysts;
- Develop and implement strategies to automate repetitive tasks and reporting;
- Create PowerPoint presentations and visualizations, transforming data into actionable insights;
- Build Tableau dashboards and Business Objects reports to track ongoing execution and performance;
- Partner with Marketing Data Scientist and Ad Tech team to refine Marketing Attribution models;
- Deliver insights to internal and external clients based on quantitative analysis in line with industry best practices;
- Partner with Data Engineers, Ad Tech, and Data Scientist to curate our Marketing data lake;
- Define project priorities with internal stakeholders;
- Design and evaluate innovative approaches for advancing analytics at Zynga;
- Collaborates with the VP and SVP of Analytics to identify new opportunities for clients based on client needs and data insights;
- Provide mentorship to the team to advance skill development;
- Manages and ensures deadlines of assigned projects are met;
- Work closely with project management to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Experience with Google Analytics (or comparable Tool);
- Experience with Databricks;
- Ability to solve complex problems quantitatively and develop clear, data-driven business recommendations;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Experience with SQL;
- 4+ years of work experience in data science or analytics roles;
- A proven ability to effectively utilize business intelligence tools and such as Tableau, Chartio, Looker to build interactive dashboards;
- Knowledge of predictive modeling algorithms and frameworks;
- A fundamental understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design;
- Proficient in Python, SQL;
- BS or MS degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, computer science, data science, math, statistics, or related field;
- Experience with subscription or SaaS businesses a plus;
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities;
- A history of working closely with marketing managers and/or designers to inform online advertising creative strategies;
- 3+ years of experience as a marketing or data analyst, preferably at a consumer technology company with an eight-figure (or greater) marketing budget.
