Senior Governance Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Governance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze many cross-technology and cross platform to ensure that data entry for master attributes meets policies for data governance and quality;
- Respond to user problems, explain new processes, and present deliverables in a timely matter;
- Provide proper communication, guidance and support to the end users as required;
- Perform in-depth data alignment analyses to support data governance/data quality improvement initiatives;
- Adhere to Aramark standards to ensure proper tracking, documentation, and support is provided;
- Provide support and insight regarding business processes as needed for the Master Data Tech team to improve the MDG application;
- Communicates with a variety of audiences, including presentation of data governance issues and analytical findings;
- Escalate appropriate business process and standards challenges to the technical team or leadership committee as needed;
- Document, report, and communicate risks, progress and status to management for any projects assigned;
- Communicate to end users and team(s) in a professional and consistent manner throughout the entire process;
- Responsible for working to document governance policies and master data entry processes;
- Participates in data governance initiatives and leads initiatives in support of strategic business, regulatory or operational objectives;
- Assume project manager duties for assigned projects;
- Communicate/escalate issues to leadership clearly and in a timely manner to ensure schedules are not affected;
- Communicate in a clear and confident manner to the end users the proper understanding of the data alignment process and all applicable technologies.
Requirements:
- Data governance practices, including data governance program lifecycles, Data stewardship practices, Metadata and data quality management;
- Must be a US Citizen;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
