Sr. Operations Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Operations Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Track service levels and problem solve any discrepancies;
- Implement procedures to manage inventory shelf life and expiry records;
- Work with Branch management and sales to optimize inventory levels and utilization;
- Implement and support Quality initiatives throughout branch;
- Train and support new team members and other team members with problem resolutions and proper operations protocol;
- Manage the closing and planning process for sales;
- Influence business decisions by accurately and succinctly analyzing and reporting financial results to branch leadership;
- Process all work in accordance with standard operating procedures;
- Provide coaching, feedback and guidance to improve service levels, internal processes and customer support methodology;
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken;
- Manage; report and analyze branch operations metrics and productivity;
- Implement and oversee branch-wide procedures to maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system;
- Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages and/or shipments;
- Determine charges for services requested, collaborate with Corporate Accounts Receivable for collection payments, and/or arrange for billing;
- Recommend corrective measures if necessary, to ensure budget compliance.
Requirements:
- You are curious and have a passion to learn new things;
- BS/ BA in an analytical field (science, math, engineering, finance, etc.);
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make fast decisions with limited and noisy data;
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and relates data query tools;
- 6Sigma/LEAN experience;
- Stores experience at Target;
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Access, ERP systems (including data analysis tools i.e. queries, pivot tables, etc.);
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience;
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication;
- Able to lead and work in a team environment;
- Ability to drive productivity and develop relationships across the organization;
- Valid Driver’s license with good driving record;
- Proven success in implementing inventory related performance measures, metrics and productivity analyses;
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory tracking and counting mechanism principles;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the medical implant industry and hospital customer base preferred.
