Document Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Document Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Update AS400 system with shipment specific details;
- Coordinate the timely, accurate processing of documentation and voyage accounting duties, in accordance with STC quality procedures;
- Coordinate the timely and accurate processing, issuing and distribution of shipping documentation for outbound shipments;
- May be responsible for Physician verification process, including entering new MDs;
- Ensure timely issuance and receipt of underlying carrier bills of lading;
- May be responsible for receiving and/or processing medical records requests;
- Completes any additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Team Oriented (Team Player);
- Able to work in a stressful environment;
- Preferred 1-year experience in the shipping industry;
- Experience in an international company environment would be an asset;
- Fluent in English language and Spanish when available;
- Familiar with word processing, spreadsheet systems, preferably MS Word/Excel.
