Our company is looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep record of all magazine credits and press reporting;
  • Plan and execute conferences, media availability, press releases, and story placement for major initiatives throughout the year;
  • Compile post-event recaps highlighting key take-aways and ROI for senior management;
  • Assist/manage/coordinate all VIP/Celebrity requests;
  • Authoring and editing press releases, messaging, talking points, pitches, presentations and more;
  • Assist with VIP and celebrity fittings as well as VIP attendance for all events (cars, HMU, gifts, travel, etc.);
  • Organize timely returns of samples for all PR pulls and dressing;
  • Maintain calendar for all brand events;
  • Work closely with outside vendors and across departments to execute events;
  • Continuously research new vendors, new ideas, new trends for events and event components;
  • Covering off-site events and meetings when needed;
  • Maintain timely awareness of possible and/or pending media items;
  • Manage estimates, invoices and budgets for all events;
  • Coordinate with global PR agencies on public relation matters such as requests, seasonal gifting and events;
  • Working independently and/or as a team member on various projects.

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ideally 1-2 years in PR related position and ideally with events experience too;
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization from assistant to C-level;
  • Strong communications skill with the ability to multi-task;
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills;
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel;
  • Ambitious and able to work under pressure;
  • Flexible schedule due to heavy volume of events;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues or information;
  • Existing strong database of contacts in media, influencer and celebrity;
  • 2-4 years of corporate communications, public relations, and/or marketing experience, preferably at an agency or major media organization;
  • Highly detailed and organized Must be able to multitask;
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, perform efficiently, handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines;
  • Highly organized and self-motivated;
  • Self-starter/thinker. Must be able to prioritize tasks at hand.
