Our company is looking for a Fitness Coach to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle member concerns when applicable;
  • Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab polices and safety rules;
  • Build OTF attendance and retain current clientele;
  • Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time;
  • Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention;
  • Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels;
  • Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele;
  • Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of 28 clients;
  • Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions;
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions;
  • Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations;
  • Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients;
  • Ensure safety of participants with regard to heart rate and exercise technique;
  • Assist sales associates, when needed, with OTF studio tours and sales;
  • Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an exercise-related field is preferred;
  • Preferred background: Personal Trainer;
  • Pilates or Yoga Instructor;
  • Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility;
  • Athletic Trainer;
  • Massage Therapist;
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Physical Therapist;
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized;
  • Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels;
  • CPR/AED certification;
  • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs;
  • Must hold current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, or NFPT;
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
