The Manicurist maintains sterile work environment that meets infection control standards and ensures work area is sufficiently stocked. Provides nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and related treatments like artificial nail applications. Being a Manicurist may require a high school diploma. Develops new clientele and promotes sale of services. In addition, Manicurist requires a state license to practice. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Manicurist’s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position’s specialty is the main requirement.
