Assembler – 2nd Shift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Assembler – 2nd Shift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions;
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed;
- Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s);
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications;
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
Requirements:
- Occasionally lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 35 lbs;
- Can possibly use hand tools, drills, hand pallet jacks, scales, computers, and/or printers;
- Must be eligible to work in the United States;
- Follow ALL safety rules and keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition;
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time to perform inspection;
- Drug test administered;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Prior microscope and medical assembly experience a plus;
- Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings;
- Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment;
- Reliable transportation (public transportation is limited in this area);
- Must be authorized to work in the US;
- Ability to pass reading and manual dexterity testing;
- Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions.
