Our company is looking for a Cabinet Maker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Man made solid surface experience;
- CNC machine experience (mills, lathes);
- Plastic laminate counter tops;
- Logs, Barn wood, Solid wood and Plywoods;
- Laminating plywood, Wood veneer application;
- Cabinet Builder;
- Fine Wood Working;
- Case work / store fixtures;
- Reinforce joints and attachments to maximize sturdiness and durability without compromising aesthetic appeal or functionality;
- Install the appropriate hardware, such as hinges and handles, and order replacement materials when needed;
- Clean and repair all equipment necessary for your work, including handsaws, table saws, skill saws, and a variety of drills and sanding tools;
- Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for all the matching units;
- Be exact in measurements and markings so that materials will be used efficiently and the projects will meet budgetary restrictions;
- Removing damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools;
- Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation;
- High standard of integrity and professionalism;
- Drug free at all times;
- 4 years of experience in Cabinet Making;
- Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
- Reliable transportation;
- 3 years or more Cabinet Making experience;
- Able to use all hand tools and power tools;
- Willing to drive to Wisconsin for work;
- Read and understand a tape measure;
- 4 years of experience in making and assembling Cabinets.
