Director, Quality Systems Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director, Quality Systems to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a global and flexible electronic Quality system for compliant processes;
- Monitor site’s compliance to GTI corporate Quality System;
- Manage the professional development of direct reports through deployment of a proactive talent management strategy, active coaching and mentoring;
- Define and monitor Quality metrics to continuously improve Quality processes and support risk and mitigation-based approaches;
- Oversee all internal SOPs and ensure that they are implemented and maintained for compliance with all Federal and State regulatory requirements;
- Ensure harmonization of 1GTI Quality system;
- Monitor site’s compliance activities to State regulations;
- Present the Quality metrics and processes’ performance for management review and product reviews, as needed;
- Evaluate and implement continuous improvement processes that improve global Quality systems and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Must pass any and all required background checks;
- A self-starter who brings the utmost level of integrity to the company;
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry;
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%
- Must be approved by the D.O.A. to receive an Agent badge;
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age;
- Influence and negotiation;
- Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
- Must possess a valid driver’s license;
- Facilitation skills with large, complex cross-functional teams;
- A passion and curiosity for data and data-driven decision making.
