Our company is looking for a Electrical Test Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews;
  • Provides technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations;
  • Establish system and module-level performance and functional standards, ensure specification compliance;
  • Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate scope;
  • Participate in overall EE board level design, development, and review work;
  • Applies knowledge of company products, policies and practices to provide economies through standardization of parts and products;
  • Analyze test results, work with design team to identify test failure root cause, implement, and verify corrective actions and solution effectiveness;
  • Perform first article verification of prototype designs;
  • Develops and/or executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation;
  • Develop, document, and execute electronic board and system level testing;
  • Set up lab test infrastructure and coordinate facility installations.

Requirements:

  • Must be capable of communicating quality and engineering criteria/issues to all levels of factory employees;
  • Must be proficient in the use of all configuration tools such as PDM and Microsoft Access database files;
  • Must be able to perform configuration verification on all levels of assemblies/hardware;
  • Must be able to inspect/evaluate optics per drawing/WQ&s and determine accept/reject criteria;
  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
  • Python and/or C++ programming experience;
  • Experience with Altium or equivalent PCB CAD package;
  • Familiarity with automotive testing standards;
  • Capable of troubleshooting analog and digital circuits down to the component level;
  • Experience working in and developing scripts in Ubuntu;
  • 2+ years industry experience or equivalent;
  • Experience working with automotive communications, such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, etc;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in computer architecture, assembly, and test methods;
  • Experience in developing highly-scalable and automated test platform.
