Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support and advice to other engineering groups;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Document processes and standard operating procedures;
  • Perform all aspects of verification including functional, regression, load, and system testing as well as documentation;

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of academic/professional programming experience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree; e.g. BSME or BSEE or higher;
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental testing; thermal, shock, vibration, electrical;
  • Ability to write test software in C# or Visual Basic;
  • AA Degree and 5 yrs exp OR BA Degree and 2 yrs exp as a Test Eng;
  • Detailed knowledge of the FAA National Airspace System Voice Communications Systems;
  • Understands the fundamentals of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics;
  • Proven ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships built on trust;

  • Experience with System Requirement and Design Validation or Verification;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Developing test procedures;
  • Experience in operating, analyzing, testing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based systems;

  • Electro-Mechanical systems experience (ideally robotics, hands-on experience building/controlling mechanical systems).
