Millwork Estimator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Millwork Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Attend Job Walks;
- Field Dim projects as needed;
- Keep accurate records of each project;
- Review bid requests;
- Communicate with company engineer, project manager and shop foreman;
- Answer questions regarding quotes;
- Perform take-offs from Architectural Drawings to include materials and labor;
- Submit Requests for Information;
- Request competitive pricing from vendors;
- Use company program for estimating and maintain up to date pricing.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of all wood working products;
- Ability to read and interpret Architectural Drawings;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience estimating.
