Molding Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Molding Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Multiple computer programs;
- Set up for Tool and Die;
- As needed Drive forklift;
- Part examinations;
- Multitasking skills;
- Fast paced surroundings;
- Perform in-process quality inspections and documentation as well of off-line testing of product;
- Follow E-spec’s (Engineering Specifications of product)- SOP’s;
- Provide preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment;
- Develop and document manufacturing instructions and data sheets;
- Mix catalysts and coloring pigments;
- Mold and cast metal or thermoplastic;
- Maintains clean working conditions;
- Operates and Maintain Medtronic molding and braiding equipment;
- Cleans hoppers, grinders, blenders, colorant bins, and hoses for all material/color changes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Mechanically inclined;
- Follow directions;
- Prescreen testing;
- Problem solving skills;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Capable of reading, comprehending, and following provided standard work instructions;
- Must have great manual dexterity;
- Must be able to visually identify quality defects;
- Have basic math and problem solving skills;
- Follow quality and safety standards when performing assigned tasks;
- Contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority;
- Must be able to meet assigned goals;
- Be capable of reading, writing, and communicating in English;
- Could be required to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
