Our company is looking for a Operations Assembly Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking output to ensure the highest quality;
  • Aligning material and putting together parts to build more complex units;
  • Reporting on issues, malfunction or defective parts;
  • Transport incoming products to designated areas within the facility, while operating, monitoring, and controlling the equipment and systems;
  • Label and package according to the job specifications;
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into the ERP system on each job;
  • Lifting, packaging, taping, and labeling operations;
  • Report defective material or questionable conditions to production department supervisor;
  • Keeping records of production quantities and time;
  • Maintaining equipment in good condition;
  • Effectively organize, replenish, and update inventory levels and adjustments;
  • Inspecting, packing and stacking materials into a skid and moving the materials with an electric pallet jack;
  • Selecting or modifying components according to measurements and specifications;
  • Report problems with quality, processes or equipment to department Leader;
  • Rework rejected product as specified by test results, replacing appropriate components and retesting.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of quality control principles;
  • Must be comfortable working a 12-hour shift schedule,
  • Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses);
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition;
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time;
  • Must be comfortable working in a clean room environment;
  • Effectively work within a team-based environment;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • At least 6 months of previous warehouse, manufacturing, or operations work experience;
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Ability to stand for long periods;
  • Minimum 1-year production experience preferred, but not required;
  • Must be able to work 2 weekends each month;
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
