Our company is looking for a pizza maker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Follow sanitation and safety procedures;
- Demonstrate teamwork;
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency;
- Follow “clean as you go” policy;
- Follow directions & Pizza Inn Portion Control Chart;
- Communicate to the various departments;
- Cleaning workstations before pizza preparation;
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed;
- Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats;
- Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use;
- Some dough tray/dish cleaning (no pizza prima donnas);

Requirements:
- Knows and prepares all specialty items;
- Uses scales for all portioning;
- Working knowledge of proper food handling procedures;
- The ability to follow standardized recipes;
- Knows Shelf Life of products and/or where to locate;
- Opens and closes station correctly;
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Follows Buffet Rotation Chart;
- Proven food preparation and food handling experience;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Makes all Specialty Pizzas correctly;
- Follows correct baking procedures;
- Knows all product abbreviations, can read guest checks and/or POS monitors;
- Prep/label item correctly.
