The Production Assembler I tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Assembles fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. Being a Production Assembler I identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. In addition, Production Assembler I may be required to complete an apprenticeship or on the job training. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Production Assembler I possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.

Requirements:
- Must be willing to submit to thorough background check and drug screen;
- Must have stable work history and can provide 2 recent supervisory references;
- Cable/Harness Assembly in Aerospace and Military Applications;
- Eye for detail;
- Solder certified to IPC-A-610 Class 3 preferred;
- Good eyesight;
- MIL-STD experience preferred;
- Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists;
- Familiarity with continuous-improvement techniques;
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills;
- D365 experience is a plus;
- Interpersonal skills;
- HS Diploma or GED;
- Clean Background Check and Clean Drug Screen;
- Bending, stooping, twisting, and standing in one spot 8-10 hours.
