Assembler 1 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Assembler 1 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Report all near-misses, incidents, injuries, illnesses, including mobile equipment or property damage;
- Participation in the site Safety and Health Program;
- Report any unsafe practices and/or conditions to their supervisor;
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any defective PPE;
- Comply with all safety rules, policies and procedures;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Performing in-process inspection to ensure product meets specifications as specified in the engineering drawing;
- Assembling/manufacturing components and or products in accordance with written procedures/drawings;
- Tinning and wicking components (contact and housing);
- Soldering housing or contact;
- Follow all written and verbal instructions;
- Soldering housings;
- Placing and shrinking marker sleeves and strain reliefs;
- Assembling connectors and performing interface gage measurement;
- Checking mechanical length of cables.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Be familiar in operating pallet jacks, powered floor transportation devices;
- Minimum of 1-year Experience as wiring, mechanical installations and assemblies;
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry and flooring experience;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Assembler;
- High School or GED;
- Certification of some tools and equipment may be need, such as but not limited to crane and forklift operations;
- Minimum of 6 months experience as Assembler 1.
