Final Assembly Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Final Assembly to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean work area;
- Perform Final Inspection on product prior to shipping;
- Responsible to meet quality checklist;
- Inspect for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) on cable interface;
- Perform mechanical measurement (dimensions) on cables using tape measure;
- Ensure product meets cosmetic standards;
- Assemble and crate whole goods in final assembly (Ag and Turf products);
- Verify test report per engineering drawing;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Be capable of making good decision (acceptable or unacceptable) using the workmanship standards;
- Provide own tools;
- Package finished goods per work instruction or engineering drawing.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills and good team player;
- Ability to apply a mechanical understanding;
- Ability to use hand and power tools (drill, grinders, impacts);
- Perform work standing during a shift;
- Ability to be cross trained in all areas of assembly process;
- ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and assembly schematics.
