Security Officer Warehouse Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Security Officer Warehouse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing and updating security policies & procedures;
- Carry out emergency procedures when necessary in accordance with the Emergency Response Plan;
- Create exceptional experiences for guests and staff by providing a helpful security presence;
- Conduct Loss Prevention audits;
- Accurately document all notable activities during shift in daily Officer Reports and incident reports;
- Conduct frequent patrols of the building;
- Respond to assist Security Manager to investigate thefts, accidents, and employee issues;
- Check identification, issue badges, and log visitors in and out of the facility.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal communication and decision making abilities;
- Must be 21 years of age or older;
- High school diploma or GED required. Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, if approved by management;
- Demonstrates strong customer focus; makes decisions and takes actions that ensure the safety and security of guests and staff;
- Able to work any shift (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.);
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Programs;
- Willingness and ability to learn building systems;
- 1-2 years prior customer service and security experience preferred.
