Our company is looking for a Front Desk Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Books Fitness Orientations for Personal Trainers;
  • Processes retail and concession sales;
  • Personally, checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures;
  • Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and attempts to collect payment;
  • Notifies management of gym incidents that requires incident reports;
  • Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty;
  • Cleans and maintains the front desk area according to Company standards;
  • Update daily rates;
  • Check In and Check Out;
  • Records equipment, facility, and janitorial issues on the Maintenance Logs;
  • Answers all incoming inquiries and obtains appropriate information to direct/transfer calls or takes messages;
  • Cleaning tasks, locker room checks, stocking inventory, ringing up POS sales, etc;
  • Tour Propesctive members on the gym, and perform sales tasks in order to convince clients to purchase memberships and personal training;
  • Answers the phone using the correct greeting and assists callers as needed;
  • Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Computer skills and efficient typing ability required;
  • This candidate should have a passion for fitness and helping others;
  • Basic math & verbal skills, understanding of basic accounting principles, cash processing procedures, inventory management, etc. are required;
  • Organized and detail oriented;
  • Ability to connect with guests and consistently give them a positive customer experience;
  • Professional phone demeanor;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or hospitality industry preferred;
  • Preferred prior Front desk agent or related hospitality experience;
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks at once;
  • Have the ability to work gracefully and quickly under pressure;
  • Possess a keen memory and delightful sense of humor;
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and enjoy serving others;
  • Have excellent communication skills;
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
