Our company is looking for a General Labor Production to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifies bottle integrity;
  • Quality inspections of finished goods;
  • Operates injection blow molder in accordance with proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs);
  • Help make and label cartons as needed;
  • Die set ups, gluing of boxes, machine quality, waste, delay and safety issue;
  • Maintains proper documentation of bottle weights;
  • Perform good housekeeping in assigned areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, wiping floors and machinery;
  • Seal cartons and be able to lift cartons onto pallet – move pallets to staging area;
  • Enter all necessary data into computer system;
  • Label pallets with bar code label for inventory control;
  • Operate stretch wrapper;
  • Operates machine in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Be observant for any fluid leaks or malfunctions of machinery;
  • Production manufacturing working with food;
  • Keeps work area in a clean and sanitary condition.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
  • Ability to operate bar code scanners along with knowledge and use of tracking, labeling and barcoding software;
  • Minimum 18 years of age;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Able to read and follow assembly diagrams;
  • Reliable and consistent attendance required;
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or dairy is preferred;
  • Possess basic mathematics skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide;
  • Some computer experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook;
  • Have a minimum of 1 -3 months of related experience;
  • High school education or GED;
  • Able to work a 12 hour shift;
  • Be able to lift and move up to 70lbs. periodically during shift when necessary;
  • Proficient in English (oral and written);
  • Effective communication skills.
