Roll Off Driver Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Roll Off Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate customer requests to Manager or Dispatch;
- Identify damaged containers;
- Maintain clean vehicle;
- Perform pre and post trip inspection of assigned equipment and document checks on standard Driver Vehicle Inspection Report;
- Follow route assignments as directed and complete end of day documentation;
- Operate vehicle in accordance with Team Waste safety requirements as well as all local, municipal, state and federal laws;
- Work closely with Manager to improve route or identify best practices;
- Perform all duties as scheduled by the Manager or Dispatch to meet customer needs;
- Report any unsafe situations or service related issues to Manager;
- Complete and submit customer tickets as required;
- Notify Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage. Also notify manager of service interruptions;
- Attend all scheduled training programs, briefings and meetings required by Team Waste.
Requirements:
- The CDL is a requirement, therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age;
- Legally eligible to work in the United States;
- Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with an air-brake endorsement;
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical;
- Commercial Drivers License B (CDL);
- Acceptable driving record required;
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and background check;
- Exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the work day;
- Required to use motor coordination;
- Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle;
- Demonstrate organizational, oral, written and listening skills in order to effectively communicate equipment issues and understand job assignments.
