Our company is looking for a CDL Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness;
  • Deliver and set homes with the help of your set crew;
  • Take on administrative tasks;
  • Two weeks experience or training with products and facility layout; or equivalent experience;
  • Make pickups of returning materials as directed by supervisor;
  • Load and unload bulk material with vacuum (load under pressure)- typically 2 hours load & 2 hours unload;
  • Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions;
  • Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by Waste Management or directed by the Route Manager;

  • Additional compensation for pre-loading, demurrage, washing unit, 34 hour break while on road, roadside DOT inspections, etc;
  • Obtaining proof of delivery from the customer;
  • Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch;
  • Diagnosing and maintenance of mechanical aspect of vehicle;
  • Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Class A or B Commercial Drivers License;
  • 1-2 years of CDL driving experience;
  • Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or license with a few months to 1 year of related experience;
  • Minimum of 25 years of age;
  • Pass drug test;
  • Class A CDL with Doubles and Triple endorsements;
  • Switcher experience;
  • Must have reliable attendance and be able to work overtime/weekends;
  • Team Player and Leader;
  • Lift over 75 pounds;
  • 2 years verifiable tractor trailer OTR experience in last 5 years;
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age;
  • Six months regulated tractor trailer experience;
  • Basic Computer skills.
