Our company is looking for a CDL A Truck Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate company tractor trailer for the delivery, pick up and transportation of used oil filters and other materials;
  • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations;
  • Load and unload used oil from customer’s and company locations via a tractor trailer from roll off boxes and roll off trailers/dump;
  • Accurately complete all required documents including manifests, bills of lading, and e-logs;
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to DOT Manager.

Requirements:

  • The compliance of all Safety, and DOT requirements at all times, as well as all applicable laws, rules and regulations to include C-TPAT;
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals;
  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise, sometimes slippery floors. Temperature range from 34-120 degrees F;
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment;
  • Communication of all maintenance concerns regarding equipment reliability, presentation, and safety;
  • Proactive approach to problem solving supporting the maintenance and logistics team with any information that can resolve matters more efficiently;
  • To ensure that all policies and procedures are supported consistently to meet ISO Standards;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • The safe and efficient movement of freight and equipment;
  • Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred;
  • Must possess and maintain a CDL Class A with Air Brake endorsement;
  • Prompt communication of all updates pertaining to the load as required by the Logistics Team;
  • Clear communication of dispatch availability;
  • Completion of all required paperwork including logs, equipment inspections, and accident/incident reports;
  • Must be able to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend required for virtually the entire shift.
