Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. The PM includes all service support and service management processes (in line with ITIL/ASL definitions), and other processes required for project-specific engagements as part of the ongoing services to our clients. The PM will work closely with project technical leads with a focus on implementing commercial off the shelf (COTs) solutions to custom code applications ranging from SAP, Salesforce, BI data analytics, Java/Oracle to cloud technology projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their abilities, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS’ capabilities.

As a Project Manager you will:

Coordinate with technical leads using a Waterfall Delivery / approach. Coordinate with technology teams who can determine big picture goals when making decisions and communicating issues.
Develop project schedules, tasks, product roadmaps, and implementation plans
Lead work streams and coordinate resources across multiple development teams at a Platform level
Gather and present metrics regarding project status to clients, technical leads, and CGS Program Manager
Proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements that can be implemented in several areas to include Supply Chain, Data Lake, Manufacturing, Engineering etc.
Facilitate effective communication and establish risk and issue mitigation plans to promote project success
Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation such as system requirements in a continuous testing and deployment environment
Provide guidance and coaching to team members and leadership on the importance of Waterfall and how to implement

Required Qualifications:

Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance that requires U.S. Citizenship
5+ Years of Project Management experience having implemented COTS solutions and or custom application full SDLC.
Knowledge of governance and establishing policies and procedures
Hands-On Experience with Waterfall methodologies
Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities
Proficient in the use of tools and methods to efficiently lead product releases, and development cycles.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, think creatively/about the big picture, and dedicated (do-er)

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
