Job Summary:

As an Administrative Assistant, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the school's administrative and reception functions. You will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff, contributing to the smooth functioning of the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reception:

Greet students, parents, and visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Manage check-ins and check-outs, ensuring the security and safety of the school.
Direct students and visitors to the appropriate classrooms or school offices.

2. Administrative Support:

Assist in maintaining the school's calendar, scheduling parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
Assist in distributing school notices and information to students and parents.
Assist in student programs.

3. Communication:

Serve as a communication hub within the school, relaying messages between parents, teachers, and students.
Handle inquiries, concerns, and requests from parents and visitors.
Manage social media outlets for school community.

4. Student Support:

Assist in the enrollment and registration of students.
Help students and parents with general inquiries about school policies and procedures.

5. Safety and Security:

Monitor the school's entry and exit points, ensuring security protocols are followed.
Implement visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
Experience in a school or educational environment is beneficial.
Strong communication skills, particularly in dealing with students, parents, and school staff.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), social media platforms.
Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in a school setting.
Knowledge of school policies and procedures is an advantage.
