Job Summary

This position exists to serve as an information specialist for CLC's Staples Campus and performs duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the Student Services Department. Additionally, this position serves as the assessment administrator for the Staples Campus.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications .

Customer service skills sufficient to answer questions politely via phone, email, and other written or electronic correspondence.
Knowledge of standard computer software programs for word processing and spreadsheets, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to accurately input, verify, and edit electronic data.
Knowledge of office procedures, methods, and equipment sufficient to input and access information in computer systems and assemble and complete documents.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with the student information system, as well as programs, policies, procedures, and services used by Minnesota State and CLC.
Understand and effectively carry out complex oral and written directions while possessing time management skills sufficient to organize workload, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential, non-public information in compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrated high level of cultural competency and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders aligning with CLC's Culture of Caring environment.

Additional Requirements

In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
