Schedule:

Rotating - 5x4x4x5

Day Shift: 7:00am - 6:30pm

Night Shift: 7:00pm - 6:30am

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

At Sibanye-Stillwater this position will function as a maintenance electrician for East Boulder's underground mine support. The primary responsibilities will include maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Electricians at the East Boulder site will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical, and electronic and instrumentation systems. Our systems include high, medium, and low voltage circuits, AC and DC motors and associated variable speed drives, all types of electronic instrumentation, PLC's, and the distributive control systems and documentation related to them. As a secondary function, Sibanye-Stillwater's underground electricians may be required to assist the surface electrical crews.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

Electrical maintenance or electrical construction experience with skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix.
Must be able to read electrical schematics.
Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and NEC electrical standards.
Proven safety record.
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Independent work habits (ability to work with little or no supervision).
Experience with PLC's Programming, ladder logic, and Rockwell automation software.
Able to meet minimum tool requirements for position (tool allowance provided).

Preferred:

Computer skills.
High voltage experience.
Electrical license / MSHA Electrical Certification Electrical license/MSHA Certification.
Experience with PLC's Programming, ladder logic and Rockwell automation software.
Underground experience.
