Head of Operations & Business Management

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an On-site Operations Manager. This role focuses on overseeing daily business operations, leading operational teams, optimizing workflows, improving organizational efficiency, and ensuring operational goals are achieved in a fast-paced on-site environment.

The Operations Manager will work closely with department leaders, executive management, vendors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate business operations, manage resources, monitor performance metrics, and implement operational strategies that support company objectives.

COMPENSATION The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $125,000 per year , based on experience, leadership abilities, operational expertise, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Oversee daily business and operational activities

Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff

Monitor operational performance and productivity metrics

Develop and improve business processes and workflows

Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation

Collaborate with department leaders to achieve business objectives

Prepare operational reports and performance analyses

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements

Manage vendor relationships and operational budgets

Resolve operational challenges and implement effective solutions

Perform additional management and operational duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred

3–7 years of experience in operations management, business management, logistics, or related leadership roles

Proven leadership and team management experience

Strong organizational and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience monitoring KPIs, budgets, and operational performance

Professional, dependable, and results-driven mindset

NICE TO HAVE Experience with ERP or business management systems

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification

Experience with budgeting and financial reporting

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies

Experience managing cross-functional teams
