Floater Phlebotomist

Location: Kansas City, MO Pay Rate: $28/hr Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 7:30am–6:30pm

What You'll Do

Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for testing following established procedures
Verify patient identification and obtain required signatures to ensure specimen accuracy
Travel between multiple patient service centers and physician offices as needed
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with standards
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and professional environment
Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required
Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with minimal supervision
What We're Looking For

A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred
Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel between sites
Flexibility to support weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call needs as required
Ability to meet compliance requirements
