HR Rep Full Time

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, has an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources department. This individual will support the HR and Recruiting teams in our fast‑paced environment with administrative tasks.
A clear employment verification and background check will be required for this role.
Responsibilities
Providing administrative assistance to the Human Resources and Recruiting departments
Assisting with day‑to‑day operations and employee requests
Auditing and maintaining employee files and HR systems
Processing required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases and other related employment matters
Assisting with the preparation of human resource reports, such as attendance, new hire and turnover reports
Ensuring company standards, policies and procedures are maintained
Supporting HR and Recruiting with their functions, meetings and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Experience working in a professional office setting
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be detail oriented and organized
Ability to work individually and with a team
Ability to handle yourself in a professional and unbiased manner in situations requiring discretion and confidentiality
Ability to handle multiple/changing tasks, priorities and deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications
Associate's degree
Experience running and organizing reports in Excel
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems such as UKG
Location: Champaign, Illinois (Hybrid work is available after completion of a training period.)
Job Type: Full time (40 hours per week) / Permanent
Reporting to: Director of Human Resources
Salary (for eligible candidates residing in the United States): The pay rate for this position is expected to be between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour.
