Reception & Administrative Professional

$19.71 - $20.67 per hour

Are you someone who enjoys supporting a team, staying organized, and helping operations run smoothly? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant at our residential property Capitol Green in Albany, NY to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support at our affordable multifamily community. In this role, you will support leasing, compliance, and resident services while serving as a welcoming point of contact for residents, applicants, vendors, and guests.

Welcoming tenants and new applicants and guiding them through the application process.

Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional office environment.

Support leasing and compliance activities by distributing application materials, assisting with interviews, and coordinating background and credit checks.

Assist with lease related tasks including preparing documents, supporting lease signings, and processing invoices and financial paperwork.

Organize and maintain applicant and resident files in both paper and electronic formats, ensuring documents are properly labeled, dated, and filed.

Assist with resident engagement activities including event sign-ups, room set up, refreshments, and post event clean-up.

Order office supplies and maintain the lobby and work areas in an organized and presentable condition.

Provide general administrative support to the property team as assigned.

Available to work on-site, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM.

Annual Performance Bonus

This position is non-exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay.

In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Experience in multifamily property management or affordable housing experience preferred.

Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning property systems.

Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, and time-management skills.

Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in all interactions.
