Overview
Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State and the second largest in the nation. The network serves eight primary care sites, 40 school‑based health centers, dental clinics, day care centers, a large dental residency program, and New York State’s largest behavioral health program. It also provides community medicine services, HIV and chemical dependency programs, and comprehensive support services.

Position Summary
The Program Supervisor provides daily oversight of HIV care and prevention activities across the network, including HIV testing, linkage to care, and PrEP/PEP services. The role manages grant activities, supervises Prevention Navigators, and develops new initiatives to advance testing and prevention.

Job Responsibilities

Directly supervise Prevention Navigators.

Design, implement, and evaluate network‑wide initiatives to improve HIV testing rates and increase PrEP access, including staff training and workflow development.

Handle all aspects of grant administration: program design, staff training, quality assurance, and budget preparation and monitoring.

Maintain a calendar of grant and internal reporting requirements and prepare and submit timely reports to funders and city agencies.

Review HIV testing logs to ensure data quality and program effectiveness; coordinate competency assessment and additional staff training as needed.

Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, updating testing and prevention procedures as required.

Oversee day‑to‑day operations related to prevention, including reviewing patient charts, testing logs, and laboratory reports, and coordinating linkage to services.

Manage the distribution and reconciliation of patient incentives and MetroCards.

Support coordination and participation in community outreach events, health fairs, and LGBT events.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

At least two years of relevant experience in HIV prevention/care and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.

Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to multi‑task and coordinate multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.

Experience working with culturally diverse communities, including LGBT populations.

Bilingual in Spanish (plus).

Salary Information
Salary Range: $66,299.99 - $82,584.60 Annually. Actual salaries depend on factors including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The range listed does not include bonuses, pay differentials, or other compensation.
