Operations Manager
Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for an Operations Manager to lead their truck/van assembly lines, oversee daily operations, maintain quality standards, and ensure production efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader who can motivate teams, solve mechanical challenges, and continuously improve production processes in a fast-paced environment. Oversee daily operations of the truck/van production and assembly line to ensure production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
Provide hands-on leadership and troubleshooting support for mechanical and assembly challenges within the truck production process.
Lead and support a team of production technicians and assemblers to maintain efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
Work closely with the quality control team to maintain high manufacturing standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Professional automotive experience preferred.
- Ability to analyze production data and drive process improvements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools, vehicle components, or mechanical systems preferred.
- Experience in vehicle, truck, van, or automotive manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience with SolidWorks is considered an asset.
